Arthur Queval

CEO & Chairman

Arthur completed his Master’s degree in Micro-engineering, with specialization in Bioengineering, at the Swiss Institute of Technology (EPFL) and McGill University, Montréal. He started the Sceptre platform in 2013, after he worked 4 years as Innovation Project manager at the Swatch Group Ltd. where he supervised more than 15 projects (R&D, IP & Product Strategy, Industrialization). He is the inventor of Loop Medical blood collection technology and the initiator of the project. All in all as a (co-)inventor, he counts more than 35 international patents related to the watchmaking and biomedical industries.

Simon Chaplin

Board member

Simon Chaplin was most recently VP Finance Developed Markets for Acelity, a private equity owned global woundcare company. Previously he has been Europe Finance Director for several business units at Medtronic and at CareFusion (now part of Becton Dickinson). He has also worked for mobile and software start-up and scale-up companies in business development roles and in banking with Rothschilds. He holds a Masters in Engineering, Economics & Management from Oxford University and an MBA from IMD.

Alain Rosier

Alain Rosier served as Chief Executive Officer of Clinical Plastic Products Sa (acquired by pfm medical Gmbh) until 2012. He worked for Medical Plastique from 1983 to 1987 for Catheter Extrusion. He is expert on Implantable Vascular Access system and on stopFlow Catheter for oncology treatments on which is worked more than 30years. He is co-inventor on few patents on CT indicator. He is board member of Pfm medical cpp.SA and owner of R-Medical Impact. He received his degree from the Ecole Supérieur de Technology Électronique and a degree in business University.

Eric le Royer

Board member

Mr. Eric Le Royer, MS, MBA serves as Managing Director at Latitude MedSolutions. Mr. Le Royer served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Endosense SA(acquired by Abbott Vascular) until September 2011. He worked for Guidant from 1989 to 2004. He has held various leadership positions on three continents. In his last three positions, he was the Cardiac Rhythm Management director in Japan, then the General Manager of the Carotid and Peripheral Business Unit in California, and the European Marketing vice president. He is board member of Medyria AG, CardioRenal SAS, Veosouce SA and 4tech Inc. Mr. Le Royer received his engineering degree from the Ecole Supérieure d'Electricité in France and a master's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Houston. He also earned a master's degree in business administration from Columbia University.
